Terms of Service

FlipIt is operated by Garvit Sharma, doing business as TREASURE TASK, located in Canada. These Terms of Service are between you and Couple App. In these Terms, "FlipIt," "we," "us," and "our" refer to TREASURE TASK and the FlipIt services we provide.

By visiting our website, using the browser preview, downloading or using the mobile app, answering the quiz, purchasing a subscription, or accessing any FlipIt content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use FlipIt.

You may only use FlipIt if you are legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use FlipIt on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

FlipIt is a couples questions game with conversation prompts, date-night decks, browser previews, quiz-based personalized decks, and related digital features. FlipIt is for entertainment, reflection, and relationship conversation.

FlipIt is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or emergency support. You are responsible for deciding whether prompts are appropriate for your relationship and circumstances.

Some FlipIt features or content may require payment. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, taxes, and included features are shown before checkout where required.

Web checkout for the quiz funnel is processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle may collect payment details, calculate taxes, issue receipts, manage billing, and handle payment support under its own buyer terms and policies.

Purchases made inside the iOS app or Android app are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, respectively. Those stores control billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for purchases made through their systems.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already paid. Your access may continue until the end of the paid period unless the payment provider or applicable law requires otherwise.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, these Terms, the applicable payment provider policies, and mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

If you answer quiz questions, enter an email address, or provide other content to FlipIt, you are responsible for that information and confirm that you have the right to provide it.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited license to use, process, store, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve FlipIt.

Do not submit illegal content, private information about another person without permission, or information that you do not want used to provide the service.

You agree not to:

• Use FlipIt for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity.
• Copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit FlipIt content unless we give written permission.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or attempt to bypass the security of FlipIt or its payment systems.
• Upload or transmit malware, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights.

FlipIt, including its app design, website, prompts, decks, quiz flows, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FlipIt for your own personal use. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. FlipIt may also rely on third-party services such as Paddle, Apple, Google, analytics providers, hosting providers, and app infrastructure providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue FlipIt features or content from time to time. We may also suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for FlipIt or other users, or if we are required to do so by law or a payment provider.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. The updated Terms apply when posted unless a later effective date is stated. If you continue using FlipIt after updates take effect, you accept the revised Terms.

FlipIt is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free availability.

We do not guarantee that FlipIt will improve a relationship, resolve conflict, or be appropriate for every situation. Use your own judgment and stop using any prompt or feature that does not feel appropriate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TREASURE TASK and its owners, operators, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to FlipIt is limited to the amount you paid for FlipIt during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 CAD if you did not pay us during that period.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws. If a term here conflicts with a mandatory legal right that applies to you, that mandatory right controls.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory laws in your location require otherwise.
